What is a joint applicant?

A joint applicant is a secondary applicant that you may choose to add to an account. Your joint applicant will have the same access to the account as you do. Anyone of you may sign alone to operate and give instructions on the account. If you wish to change the signing privileges on your account, please visit a CIBC branch.
